Community Knowledge and Behavior About COVID-19 and Their Attitude Toward Public Policies Implemented Against This Pandemic in the Northwest of Iran

Background: The awareness of people’s health knowledge and behavior on COVID-19 has helped education promotion policies, examination opinions governance measures against this disease will guide policymakers in making more decisions responsiveness. Objectives: This study aimed to investigate behaviors toward their views adopted public policies Maragheh, a city the Northwest Iran. Methods: was cross-sectional, analytical that done urban areas Maragheh from 13 November 20 December 2020. sample size estimated at 672 participants, sampling method stratified random. data collection instrument researcher-made questionnaire consisted four sections: demographic information, behaviors, respondent’s COVID-19, viewpoints shared online. one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, multiple regression were used analyze with SPSS version 23. Results: mean scores (6.42 ± 1.2) out 9 (34.8 3.9) 36 moderate. majority respondents had high levels also about keeping physical distance (98.5%) proper handwashing (97.9%).
